Before I went back to working outside the home, I would walk the girls to school each day. I enjoy walking. I would average about 3 miles a day. I miss those walks. Not only were they good exercise, it was a great time for the girls to discuss their day while we walked home. I never really lost weight, but maintained it & was in fairly good shape. Three years & a desk job later, I am feeling the effects of not walking each day. {Those once 'fit good' jeans, are no longer fitting so well!!} Since I am currently unemployed, I figured it's time to take advantage of it & get back to walking. So all this week I've been walking the youngest to school. I only do it in the morning because there isn't enough time to get the middle one in the afternoon then walk to the school for the youngest. So, both ways, it's about 1 1/2 maybe 2 miles. Not bad, but man, oh man am I outta shape!! LOL Not only do my calves, butt & thighs ache but also my shins!! I've never had my shins ache from walking!! It's so weird. But I know it wont last & I feel so much better.
So, today after my morning walk, I sat down on my widening back end worked a bit on a new kit & made another QS from both Whitewash & Valentina. I thought some of you might enjoy it.
