Day 12 ~ And the Countdown Begins....

The girls are so excited only 12 more days until Christmas; despite the fact we have not decorated, gotten a tree, or even began shopping for gifts!! We had to move unexpectadly in July (our landlord sold the house we were renting) and you'd think 30 days would be enough time to find another house to rent, but not where we are in AZ. Anyway, we ended up in an apartment with most of our belongings in storage. Including the Christmas decrations. And going from a 1700 SF, 3 bedroom house to a 1000 SF, 2 bedroom apt. makes it difficult to find a place for a tree!! I've always had a live tree since I was a kid. The smell of one reminds me of Christmas when I was younger & Dad would take us out in the woods to find the perfect tree to cut. Ahhh the memories......

Now on to why you stopped by today ~ part #12 ~ a felt, jewel accented funky flake, tab & beribboned safety pin!

Thank you for your interst in my freebie, but this download is no longer available.

First Thank You for sharing part 12 of your wonderful kit!

2nd I know what you're going thru with the limit space and all your Christmas decorations packed away and I hope I don't offend you by suggesting maybe a very small live tree or even a Norfolk pine tree that the girls and you can decorate making your own decorations together, when my son's were little and money and space were limit we done this giving us memories to cherish to this day of things we made together!

A felt jewel accented funky flake, a tab and a beribboned safety pin,
More lil funktified frames,
A Snowflaky Stripey paper,
A tag, and a ribbon poof,
Some ribbon and a SWIRLY,
A mini frame, gingham treed paper and a PROOooNG,
Some knotted gingham ribbons
more pretty gingham ribbons,
A FUNKTIFIED FELTTTTT TREEEEEEEEEE,
one dated ticket, one cool paper,
A set of beribboned paperclips,
some pretty gingham ribbons,
a nice set of hardware,
and some papers embellished with treeeeeees.

Don't feel bad about not having a tree or been shopping....I went shopping lastnight for the first time. I still haven't got a tree up.
I want a small one to put on top of a bar table, and just haven't found one yet. I have no time to look, work, work, work! Fortunately I have no kids left at home.
You'll be ready, I promise. Santa will find you even if you decorate a cathedral cactus..lol. One year I hung some ornaments on a bunch of eucalyptus that I have in a brass urn, and he still found us! He knows we believe!
